A Course In Miracles - Our Passage from Time to Eternity

Oprah is really going for it..this really is HER year! What a demonstration. What with launching the year with Marianne Williamson teaching A Course In Miracles and now opening up the highway with Eckhart Tolle on the largest ever webcast of it's kind -  the rippling effect of 2 million minds joining online is likely to rock the continuuum. Oprah is an incredible communicator. God bless her. She is taking the heat from the christians funnily enough not unlike what Jesus went through. As a christian rather than attack her I would be starting to ask myself some serious questions. I mean either Oprah is what they think she is.. "the devil" or maybe she is "the Christ" - maybe Jesus is using her to spread his message? What have I got to be afraid of? (Besides the loss of my identity/ego..LOL!!!) I mean once you have had the experience who really gives a shit. God is GOD. The purpose of A Course In Miracles or the Bible is to establish a direct contact with God. Once that communication is restored you doen't need ANYTHING else.

So if I am not in the experience of supreme joy (God's will for me) then I need to ask do I truly want to be happy?  All the concepts in the world can't help me find eternal joy. All the teachers and all the books in the world can't help me (including ACIM and the Bible) except to guide me inwards. I have to find the source of happiness within me. In the past I found fleeting moments of happiness infact I could have spent the rest of my life swimming in bliss with the dolphins but it wasn't until I learned through the workbook of A Course In Miracles to truly let go and practice the continual conversion of my mind that I discovered I was really lost in my own bubble of nothingness. Actually I am still in my own bubble with moments of perfect communication but one thing has changed..I am aware I'm sleeping. I'm aware this is a dream and tempted as I maybe sometimes to launch back into my old thought system I am continually amazed that the workbook has worked me. I can never go back. At this point in my transformation I sometimes feel more cornered than ever. I am an ego and I resist the light like hell. The rage, defense, justification and HATRED rears it's ugly head but in the exposure is the miracle. The new thought system has taken root and I don't stay in that black hole for more than it takes to forgive myself - an instant...in a holy instant I am lifted beyond my own littleness and back into heaven. It is an undoing. I am reminded of something Amma said once..if you think it's tough now you aint seen nothing. Prepare to be like red ants walking through fire. I wouldn't dream of going there without A Course In Miracles.
